Jack Curtis, Realtor®

I graduated from Conneaut High School in 1986 and received a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Real Estate from Kent State University in 1990.  I became a licensed Real Estate agent in the State of Ohio in 1989.

I grew up with real estate as part of my daily life as my mother was the first woman broker and multi office brokerage in Ashtabula County.  I feel that growing up in this environment gave me real life experiences which I benefited from once I started practicing real estate. I chose a career in real estate because it gives me an opportunity to put to use what I saw growing up and learned at Kent State University.

I relocated into the Westerville community in 1990 and immediately joined HER Realtors. In January of 1993 I joined my sister, Jill’s real estate group “The Rudler Team”.  Then in October of 2012 the entire team joined Keller Williams and now are part of Keller Williams Excel Realty.

My family and I have enjoyed the Westerville community and feel it has offered us a sense of family values, a strong education system and a great opportunity for growth.

I am involved in Charity Newsies which provides clothing for less fortunate school age children.  I am a member of the Blendon Masonic Lodge. In my spare time, I enjoy golfing, fishing, my young Golden Retriever named “Peanut”, and I attend many sporting events in central Ohio.

I feel The Rudler Team-a team of highly skilled professionals are what makes us special and gives added services to our clients. I feel one thing I do better than my competition is utilizing my negotiation skills.  When you go through real estate school it doesn’t teach you how to negotiate, real world hands on experience is what teaches you that and I have negotiated 1,000’s of contracts and home inspection requests over the years.

As well as being caring, knowledgeable and helpful, a client should work with me because of our mission which is to provide a world class customer experience second to none, to follow the Keller Williams Belief System, and to build a business on a foundation of satisfied customers who have become friends.
